PRODUCT STANDARD
Accessibility at CutTempo
Music tools are dense by nature. Our goal is to keep CutTempo perceivable, operable and understandable without removing professional control.
Our target
We design public pages and core editor workflows toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This statement describes our target and current design approach; it is not a certification of complete conformance.
What we support
- Keyboard-visible focus and skip navigation on public pages.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels and status announcements.
- Responsive reflow from phone to desktop without requiring page-level horizontal scrolling.
- Reduced-motion preferences and high-contrast text on dark surfaces.
- Keyboard controls for note selection, velocity and duration adjustment, and candidate review.
Known complexity
The symbolic MIDI piano roll requires ongoing assistive-technology testing across browsers. Notes can be selected with the keyboard; the inspector provides labeled velocity and duration controls and a pitch-preview button. Preview uses a simple tone, not the instruments from your Live Set. Review instrument playback in Ableton Live.
Tell us what is blocking you
Email support@borealbit.com with the page, browser, assistive technology and task you were trying to complete. We will use that detail to reproduce and prioritize the issue.
